We have used mezzanine stairs that are fully compliant with the latest UK building regulations for warehouses, offices, retail spaces, industrial units, and distribution centres.

We also supply used mezzanine stairs with mid-landings and top-landings. These can be installed if the space dictates that the mezzanine stairs will run parallel with the mezzanine floor or if access requires 90 degrees or 180 degrees, turn in the staircase.

Mezzanine Staircase Options

There are different staircase options available, depending on how the second level is to be used. There are separate mezzanine floor stairs for second levels used for storage or industrial purposes, utility access, offices, or publicly accessible spaces, such as in a retail store.

Typically, the mezzanine steps will have a minimum spacing of 800mm, 1,000mm, or 1,200mm between handrails. The specifications of the step widths, risers, tread depths, edge protection, handrails, and mid-landings (where there are more than 12 risers) are set for each type of use.
