Planning your factory racking
Before choosing racking, it helps to know the weight and size of your heaviest pallets, your aisle widths and the type of truck you use, plus the condition of the floor and your usable height. We use these to recommend a layout at the survey stage. Racking should be installed and inspected with reference to HSE guidance HSG76 and the FEM 10.2.02 design code, and we can help with installation and racking inspections.
