Used Drive In Pallet Racking For Sale

We sell used drive in pallet racking from UK stock, so you get a drive in system without paying for new.

Drive in pallet racking is a high density storage system. Forklifts drive into the racking lanes and place pallets on rails on either side, several pallets deep. Because there are no aisles between each bay, you can store far more pallets in the same floor space than with standard warehouse racking.

Pallets go in and come out from the same end of each lane, so drive in racking works on a LIFO (Last In, First Out) basis. It suits large quantities of the same product where strict stock rotation isn’t needed, such as bulk goods, seasonal stock and cold store products.

Get in contact to arrange a free on site survey. We’ll assess your layout and storage requirements so you know which drive in setup will work in your building.

Why Buy Used Drive In Racking From Us?

We buy racking as well as sell it, so we understand what matters when you’re weighing up your options. Our pricing is clear, with no hidden fees, so you know exactly what you’re paying for your drive in racking system.

Have drive in racking you no longer need? We also buy second hand drive in racking.

See Before You Buy

Before you order, we’ll send you photographs of the exact drive in racking you’re buying, so you can check its condition and suitability for yourself. If you have questions about dimensions, load capacity or installation, get in touch and we’ll help you make the right decision for your warehouse.

Advantages of Drive In Pallet Racking

More pallets in the same space: Drive in racking replaces the aisles between bays with storage lanes, so far more of your floor space holds pallets than with selective pallet racking.

Makes better use of your existing building: Storing more pallets in the space you already have can reduce or delay the need to expand or move to a larger warehouse.

Ideal for large volumes of the same product: With several pallets of one product in each lane, stock is simple to organise and find.

Lower cost when bought used: Used drive in racking gives you the same high density storage without the cost of a new system.

Is Drive In Racking Right for Your Warehouse?

Drive in racking works best when you store a small number of product lines in large quantities. Keep the following in mind:

  • Each lane is loaded and unloaded from the front, so the first pallet in is the last out (LIFO).
  • You can’t reach a pallet at the back of a lane without moving the ones in front of it.
  • Forklift drivers work inside the racking, so careful operation and regular inspections are important.

If you store lots of different products or need every pallet to be accessible, standard adjustable pallet racking may suit you better.

Drive In vs Drive Through Racking

Drive in racking has an entry at one end of each lane only, so it works on a LIFO basis. Drive through racking is open at both ends: pallets are loaded from one side and collected from the other, which gives first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation.
