Selective Pallet Racking is a name given to the most common type of pallet racking system – consisting of vertical pallet racking columns and horizontal pallet racking beams. This pallet racking system has been named ‘Selective Pallet Racking’ because of the ease of removing beams and selecting new beam levels. This meaning that the pallet racking frame can be altered to fit changes in stock levels and stock requirements. Stock is often loaded and removed using machinery such as a fork lift truck.
